Evening, folks.
A few years ago, I had the fortune to have one of my stories published in the first issue of Barstow and Grand, an annual literary print journal out of Eau Claire, WI. Since then, I’ve had the opportunity to be a prose reader for B & G.
Currently the journal’s taking submissions for its third issue (in fact, this weekend it’ll be free to submit), and if you have a piece of fiction or nonfiction, a poem, or a hybrid text of some type, and a connection to Wisconsin’s Chippewa Valley you should send it on in. (any kind of connection, seriously…maybe you went to the music festival one year, or perhaps you always stop for gas and “Thorpedo” sub sandwich in Thorp, or maybe you just enjoy the hell out of Leinenkugel’s various beers and shandies).
It’s a great journal to submit to, especially for new writers.
Check it out!
Huzzah!
